The IEEE Website Contest is an annual global contest for IEEE Student Branches. Entering your website is easy, and you may win up to 1000$ for your branch.
The official rules of the Website Contest can be read here.
Participants
We have had 23 participating student branches in this year’s edition from (alphabetically) Croatia, Denmark, France, Nigeria, Russia (Siberia), South Africa, Spain, UKRI, UAE, Germany and Turkey.
How are the sites rated ?
A jury fills rates each site according to 6 criteria: content (30 pts), navigability (25 pts), originality (15 pts), overall presentation (15 pts), portability (10 pts), load time (5 pts). At the end of the process, each site obtains a rate out of 100. The rates are then averaged over the jury members, the website with the highest rate wins the preliminary phase, which is returned to the jury members, who need to approve final decision before nominating the winner.
As there are more than 20 participating student branches in the 2007 edition, the 3 first websites are entitled to participate at the global Website Contest !
